With all the events that bombard us each day it is often difficult to keep focus. David W. suggested we focus on the, “…style and composition of the shot you’re trying to create.” Two days ago, I snapped a couple of pictures at one of my favorite overlooks on Portola Drive in San Francisco. The setting provides a lovely view of downtown. When it’s hazy, however, it’s not a splendid view so you have to work with what you’ve got. Some days, I find it’s better to focus on something other than the big picture.
