This week we’ve been challenged by Cheri Lucas Rowlands of WordPress to provide our interpretation of serenity. An image that invokes calmness or tranquility.
I find it most simple to be at ease when visual stimulus is minimized. Not voided, minimized. It’s probably why I’m drawn to photographs of sunrises, sunsets and twilight hours. Easy does it.

Thanks Jeremy… I was lucky to catch him there as he didn’t stay long. The idea of being alone to watch the sunset lead me to thinking of this as serene.
Beautiful image. I love the mist rolling in from(or out to) the sea.
Thanks… it comes in from the heavy surf (this was after a storm) and adds a mystical element to the scene.

@quarksire It is a popular hanglider/paraglider spot. It’s Mussel Rock Park in Daly City, CA. It’s also considered the location of the epicenter for the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake.

yes i have yet to fly that coastline, have driven it though, but i have flown southern ridgfes below la etc etc an torrey pines…ur coastline there i want to come to one day an zippy de do da up an around there ..will be fun trip..someday..we shall see colorado bound now i am stuck in colorado it appears fer a bit…take care thankQ fer commentin 🙂 ….be safe.
